Sundaram chants together with a seminargroup the kirtan "He Ma Durga" and after this the kirtan "Devi, Devi, Devi". He Ma Durga means simple: "Oh Mother Durga". Durga can literally translate as "impregnable". Durga is also worshiped as the goddess of the origin of the universe, the embodiment of all substance and the destroyer of demons (our lower virtues).

"He Nandananda Gopala" is a very popular Kirtan at Yoga Vidya. It specifically refers to joy because Nanda means joy and happiness. Nandana means "pleasing". Gopala means "the good shepherd" or "the one who protects all beings." Ananda - "it leads toward the pleasure". Nanda - "he is full of joy". "He Nandananda Anandananda Yadu Nandananda Gopal." So Krishna is joy. Therefore, when you sing this mantra, just feel your heart, feel joy.
